Cultivate a love of learning: as the only Montessori daycare, preschool, and kindergarten option in Cheyenne, we offer more than traditional childcare—our certified Montessori teachers observe each child closely and introduce new lessons when they are ready, fostering curiosity, concentration, and a lifelong love of learning.
Prepare for life: at the Montessori School of Cheyenne, we provide authentic Montessori education that supports the whole child—body, mind, and spirit. Our carefully prepared Montessori classrooms offer early childhood learning environments where children progress at their own pace in mixed‑age settings. With hands‑on Montessori materials and individualized lessons, our certified teachers foster independence, curiosity, and confidence.
Receive a comprehensive education: in addition to strong kindergarten readiness in math, language, and social‑emotional development, our Montessori educators emphasize core values such as independence, respect, and community—helping each child grow with confidence and purpose.
We accept children from 1 to 6 years old.

If there isn’t a higher‑level Montessori program available, your child is still exceptionally well‑prepared for their next step. Montessori learners transition smoothly into traditional classrooms because they’ve spent years building strong executive‑functioning skills—like focus, organization, and self‑motivation. They’re also used to collaborating with peers of different ages, solving problems independently, and advocating for their own learning. These strengths help them adapt quickly and confidently to new academic and social environments.
In a Montessori classroom, children are free to work at their own pace, but they’re never learning in isolation. A certified Montessori teacher carefully observes each child’s development and offers materials and lessons that build on the skills they’ve already mastered. This individualized, child‑led approach ensures steady academic growth, supports strong executive‑functioning skills, and helps each learner progress with confidence.
